What makes a tax invoice valid in Australia
A valid ATO tax invoice must include: the words "Tax invoice", your business name, your ABN, the date of issue, a description of what was supplied, the GST amount (or a line that says "Total price includes GST"), and the total amount payable. For invoices of $1,000 or more (ex GST) to a business buyer, you must also include the buyer's identity or ABN.
